Let there be peace

I can't let today go by without acknowledging the historic moment the world shared in last night. In the late hours of the evening it was announced that the terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden was killed by United States military forces. Rejoicing and celebration broke out in our nation. My hope for our country and for nations across the world is this news bring peace.

Peace for the families of those lost, the victims that survived, and rescue workers of 9/11; for the residents of New York City; for the military men and women who have served over the last decade, those that gave their lives in service and for their families; for our government who has persevered; and for the victims of terrorism across the world.
